Control device (quality control) : Anti-Rolla

This sensor has been designed by FIL CONTROL for a special application : to regulate the rewinding tension of the yarn on ORION automatic winders. FIL CONTROL has produced, during the last few years 40 000 Anti-Rolla units per year.

Application : dyers need bobbins winded with a homogeneous density of yarn because the homogeneity of the shade could be drastically affected by density difference inside the bobbin.

The cops coming from the spinning machines have to be rewind to obtain bobbins with no defects, precise lengths and homogeneous densities. This is the “job” of the ORION machines.

Density homogeneity is obtained from a winding at a constant yarn tension.

The Anti-Rolla sensor is used to measure the yarn tension during the winding operation. It gives information to the automate which at once modifies (then regulates) the taking off speed of the drum.
