Yarn cutter: CFD
The CFD is a product reserved for enterprise RIETER ICBT. The CFD is equipment
dedicated to the automatic cavage on different types of machines. It is
composed of a automatic rechargeable yarn-cut and of a detecting thread-catcher.
Conditions of working: The movement of the guillotine must be complete
to guarantee the cut. Consequently, a sufficient clearance must be preserved
to assure that the guillotine won't be blocked, nor braked or deviated
of its trajectory, and the air food time must be in relation with the
debit of air. The time of displacement of the guillotine must be of 50
ms ± 20% to get an optimum cut.
For the detection of the delicate fibers (polypropylenes), a more sensitive
version specifically exists (CFD 423888).
